Seattle Network Maintenance, scheduled 2 weeks ago

We will be performing network maintenance at our Seattle Washington location on the 16th June 2020 at 4:30pm PDT || 17th June at 12:30am BST in order to move a network uplink to a separate line card on our router to increase redundancy.

The following IP subnets will NOT be affected by this maintenance:
45.43.30.0/24
104.218.232.0/24
104.218.233.0/24
Any announced/BGP prefixes that do not include ddos mitigation

Details:
Date: 16th/17th June 2020
Start Time: 4:30pm PDT/12:30am BST
End Time: 5:00pm PDT / 1:00am BST
Expected outage: up to 5 minutes

We will shift traffic to different network uplinks before the maintenance occurs in an effort to keep any downtime to a minimum therefore some short packet loss events may be seen within 10 minutes prior to the maintenance start time.

Dallas Network Dallas CG23 network offline

Dallas CG23 is currently offline as the data centre went ahead with delayed scheduled maintenance but it appears to be having problems with the new fiber link not coming up, data centre technicians are checking.

This includes VPS nodes DALSKVM1 and DALSKVM2 and web hosting.

UPDATE @ 20:58 BST - We're still communicating with the data centre on what's exactly wrong, our assumption is still that the new fiber link the data centre technicians plugged in is not coming up. No ETA currently.

UPDATE @ 21:32 BST - Network came back up at 21:17 BST, we're waiting on our upstream giving details on what caused the extended outage.

UPDATE @ 21:38 BST - Data centre informed us that the extended downtime was caused by the ARP not updating automatically on their end and they eventually had to clear their ARP cache manually.

Dallas Network Dallas network outage

A part of our Dallas network outage saw an outage at 19:31 BST lasting until 19:39 BST today. The cause is an iBGP issue inside our upstream's network (Psychz), the solution for which is us being moved to a different uplink switch of theirs which we're working to schedule with them as soon as they're available.
