At 16:17 GMT we became aware of network issues in our Seattle location. Upon investigation we saw that one of our carriers, Telia, was suffering an outage and traffic was beginning to re-route to our other carrier. This took around 1 - 2 minutes. Telia later came back online at 16:27 GMT however we observed a routing loop caused by them which meant traffic on Telia routes wasn't routing properly. This was resolved by Telia at 16:31 GMT.
This incident is likely related to the previous Telia incident where their router rebooted due to an OS bug. They are scheduling maintenance to update the OS on the 17th November however this may well be brought forward if this outage was caused by the same issue as the last.
