SEABKVM5 Seattle IGW1.13.3 power disruption

One of the two PDUs in the Seattle cabinet IGW1.13.3 has gone offline, this will mean some dedicated servers are offline (if your dedicated server ID starts with IGW1.13.3) and VPS server SEABKVM5.

We're getting the PDU checked currently.

  • The equipment that went offline is currently powered by a temporary PDU so things were online quicker, we will schedule a maintenance window in the coming days to swap back to the permanent PDU.

  • Everything is now back online, as of 05:20 UTC, at least temporarily. We're awaiting further updates from the data centre.

  • The data centre has informed us that they're working on getting temporary power to the affected PDU so hopefully the downtime will not be the full time mentioned.

  • We received an update from the data centre that the power outlet on their side has failed and they need to re-run a new cable to a new outlet. This process will unfortunately take 2 - 3 hours but they are expediting it as much as possible.

    Dallas Network Dallas network instability

Our Dallas Path.net DDoS protected IPs are currently seeing intermittent high packet loss and very short outages. We're already in contact with Path about this and hope it's resolved shortly.

  • We have moved our IP prefixes to CosmicGuard ddos protection until Path.net resolves their issues. If you require any specific filters made for CosmicGuard, let us know, as we do not currently have a customer control panel available for this yet.

    SEABKVM25 SEABKVM25 disruption

Seattle E5 VPS server SEABKVM25 is seeing issues similar to SEABKVM24 was on 16th March. We're investigating and will disable the system responsible for the server lockups until more is known to avoid repeats. SEABKVM25 will be rebooted shortly.

  • Issue has been resolved without the need for a reboot.

    SEABKVM24 SEABKVM24 disruption

Seattle E5 VPS server SEABKVM24 is currently suffering issues, we're investigating.

  • Server has been stable for 20 - 30 minutes and all VMs have been booted. We'll continue investigating and will implement any necessary changes as a result of our investigation to hopefully prevent a repeat of this incident.

  • We found the server had frozen during a backup process, we're currently rebooting the server to apply updates that may be related to this.
