We're investigating stability issues with our Seattle network.
UPDATE @ 00:22 - The network stabilised at 23:30 BST. The cause of the issues is the uplink to our primary internet provider flapping, we're in contact with the provider of this uplink to find out why.
UPDATE @ 00:54 - Source of issue has been found, the cause was a port issue on the switch we're connected to when another port was plugged into it, it was caused by a wrong port layout being used by our provider which they've confirmed is now permanently resolved.
Seattle NetworkSeattle network brief route loss
Our Seattle network briefly suffered some BGP route convergence at 07:45 - 07:48 BST meaning network connections would have dropped for part of this period as our primary network provider became inaccessible to us.
We're investigating why our BGP session and many others over the Seattle Internet Exchange dropped.
All routes to our primary provider are active at this time meaning services should be operating as normal.
UPDATE @ 08:20 BST - We've determinated that the root cause was our Seattle Internet Exchange uplink going down and quickly coming back up. We've contacted the provider of this uplink to find out the cause.
